"Kind and reassuring staff"

I was extremely nervous about having an out-patient hysteroscopy, having ready horror stories on google(!) - I can't fault the staff and the way they handled the procedure. The gynaecologist was very honest, but very informed and reassuring and put me completely at ease - which was difficult considering the procedure. She was so gentle that it was virtually painless and she kept me informed the whole time. I can't praise the nursing staff who were in there highly enough - they were really kind without being patronising. In fact, the only stressful part of the visit was waiting for over an hour for a car-parking space! The only criticism I have is the length of time waiting for the results. I've waited patiently for over the 2 weeks I was told and have just called to chase them up to realise I can only call between 12 and 1pm which is impossible as I'm a teacher, and frankly I don't really want my results in the middle of the working day in case I hear something bad. So I guess I'll have to wait for a letter to drop on my mat......
