"DVT visit for scan and diagnosis"

About: Port Isaac Surgery Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

(as a service user),

Recently I was refereed from my Doctor at the Bridge Surgery Wadebridge for suspected DVT after a flight back from holiday. I got a scan within three days with a further follow up a week later. Scanning with Velda and thrombosis advice with Tamsyn.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and care that was taken to treat and explain exactly what was going on in my aged body; not only was I put at ease about the scan but a course of action was immediately undertaken to resolve the problem.

Well done the scanning department and the thrombosis clinic.

The NHS at it’s best.

I'm am glad that they were able to put you at ease about your scan and that action was immediately taken.
