(as the patient),

I recently attended the North Devon District Hospital Day Surgery Unit for an operation to repair an inguinal hernia.

I would like to express my thanks and admiration for Mr Arain and his team for the level of care and competence that I received.
From the staff involved at the pre-op assessment through to the auxiliary staff, nurses, and anaesthetists that were involved in my day surgery experience, I can only express my thanks and appreciation for their commitment to ensuring my experience was as good as it could be.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us and I am pleased to learn that you were well cared for by staff in the Day Surgery Unit (DSU) at the North Devon District Hospital (NDDH).

I hope that you continue to make a good recovery from your operation to repair an inguinal hernia and that any follow-up appointments are reassuring.
