"Counselling groups"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Fareham

(as a service user),

I have a lot of mental health problems, anxiety etc. which really does make it very hard to go to group counselling, group counselling for rehab - plus 3 groups a week is very heavy mentally.

If at start of week and end of week had this group or art groups I would come to every one! as this would be really enjoyable relaxing and would help so you don't feel so weighed down mentally.  I'd come to both. I really hope this could happen as it is a brilliant group.

I struggle to take part as get so upset. This twice a week start and end would help big time.  I hope this could happen.

Thank you for your recent post and feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with your mental health. I am glad that you have found that attending a group can be beneficial for you and commend you for attending even though you find it very hard.

We are currently looking into setting up a peer led art group in Fareham. I will pass on your suggestion to the Fareham Team about having a group at the start and end of the week so that when they next review the timetable they can consider your request.

In the meantime,if you were able to travel to the Havant Hub, they offer a Monday and Friday ACT group which you are very welcome to attend.

I would encourage you to try and continue to access support and wish you all the very best in your recovery.
