About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as a service user),

I have just been in for general anaesthetic and endoscopy in Hairmyers. whilst no medical procedure is pleasant the care from the team of nurses/assistants and indeed the consultant was exemplary. Mr Stewart is one of the loveliest caring consultants I have encountered. meeting with me introducing himself listening to me and then coming back to fully explain the process and what was found. the nursing team of whom there are many but Angela and Christine I believe were perfect examples of good care. The staff nurse in theatre was also great.

It was a Saturday so I'm guessing some waiting list initiative to get seen but staff were all fully engaging and great.

Good team Hairmyers and thank you.
