As was at hospital in active labour for over 70h! I haven’t seen any doctor apart from anaesthetist all that time. Been left on my own most of the time. When doctor finally came they’ve checked on me saying baby was in a wrong position all this time and took me for a c section! I was given epidural during labour already which didn’t work on one side which I’ve complicated about so many times but the been said that it’s been so many hours so it has to be working. Just before my c section I was given a bigger dose which still numb only one side. Once they’ve started to cut me open I could feel all the pain, doctor who did my c section started to panic, same time anaesthetist was trying to put me to sleep. Also after my c section I’ve been asked to get up 3h after operation with no help, left on my own with baby.
It took me a while till the pain stopped. Wasn’t thinking about it much until my second emergency c section at another hospital where doctors couldn’t believe how bad was the state of my stomach from inside as a result of the first c section. They did their best to leave it in a good safe condition but due to my first c section in Wolverhampton I was advised that I shouldn’t plan more kids.
"The worst c section experience"
