I am an alcoholic. I started to drink more and more when I lost my mum to cancer. (Vodka) Big bottle every day. I got so bad drinking I lost the trust of my family. I would hide my empty bottles. I live alone, so my family and friends stopped visiting me. I started to go to Inclusion group. Talking helped me realise I was not on my own, I also had counselling with a guy called Simon. Then I decided I will stop drinking. I could not be told by other people but Simon helped me realise how much better my life can be (he was right). I have not drank for 39 days.
I keep to my meetings and feel good and I see my family and friends, its great. I know I still got a long way to go but its good to be able to talk to someone and have help.
"Its good to be able to talk"
