"Treated well and kept informed"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Monklands / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 17)

(as a relative),

My husband was discharged on Tuesday from ward 17.

From being sent to A&E by our GP at Mossend surgery he received excellent care from A&E , to AMRU and ward 17 where he spent a week his care was excellent.

Dr Farmer together with all the doctors he met, all the nursing staff ,ward staff and porters treated him very well and kept him informed at every stage of his treatment.

So grateful for the NHS and all its staff who work very hard.

Dear Lumus,

Thank you for leaving feedback on the Care Opinion platform for University Hospital Monklands. I was sorry to learn that your husband was so unwell and required to use our services. I do hope he is now well on his way to recovery and feeling much better.

Thank you also for highlighting some of the clinical areas that you and your husband came into contact with. I was delighted to read your comments and I think my colleagues within The Emergency Department, AMRU and ward 17 will feel the same. It is always good to hear that we got a patients care journey right and by the sounds of it, we did on this occasion. I will be sure to share your lovely feedback with all the staff in ED, AMRU, Ward 17.

Best wishes,

Gav
