"Meridian House"

About: Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust Meridian House

(as a service user),

I will start by asking if someone would please come forward to discuss this ongoing issue with what I feel is negligence in this mental health service and team.

I am still waiting for the team/trust to get back to me regarding looking into this complaint (started 2017/18), but i fear i shall be dead before they arrange a meeting.

Meridian house and other services within bdct need a positive attitude towards people and treating their mental health conditions now, as i am early 40ies and still waiting to have an assessment!!

I am now so restricted in leaving the house, never mind loosing my whole life and my will to live that i a/ considering moving just so i can use leeds services.

I would like some help please with my depression and anxiety disorder so i can live my life.

This illness started in 1996, i had to leave work in 2008, and i'm still waiting for a response from your team to help end this living nightmare.

Please let me know if i will be able to get off benefits and go back to work!!???

Because i hate my life and would please like some heelp to get it back.

I am sure i'm not the only person who is in a similar position.

Be good to speak to someone else within the mental health sector who can assist.

Thank you for your time.

I am really sorry to hear about your experience, I do understand that this is very upsetting for you and I am sorry for the distress and worry you are experiencing.

We would like to talk to you so we can look into what has happened in more detail and what we can do to help. We will also check on the previous complaint you mentioned and find out why you don't seem to have had a response to that.

Can you please call our Patient Advice and Complaints team on 01274 251440 or email them on advice.complaints@bdct.nhs.uk as soon as possible. This is so we can get some more details and agree the best way for the service to contact you to discuss this.

When you call or email please mention that we have asked you to get in touch to follow up on your post on Care Opinion. We will then arrange for the right person from the services to contact you.

The best time to phone is Monday – Friday between 9.30- 4.30. If you can’t call at those times, please leave a message with your name and number so we can call you back. We assure you that this will not have any negative effect on any future care you might need.

We hope to hear from you soon.
