My mom was admitted into hospital after having a real bad allergic reaction as her oxygen level were low and as she was admitted on to the ward and lunch time came around they offered her food were she made them aware that she is allergic to egg and nut. The gave her chicken with some sauce that contain nut in it and she had a very bad allergic reaction to it and thankful by the help of the crash team she got under control and was given so medication to reverse the affect of the nut and am so not happy with the service that the kitchen staff provide with the catering people because the package did not have any warning that the food had nut in it and THE SAD THING IS THAT I WOULD HAVE LOST MY MOM

I am very sorry to learn of your mother’s experience whilst she was an inpatient under the care of our Trust and the impression that it has left.
