"Smoking at entrance"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / GP Out of Hours

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended the OOH service Sunday morning with my 6 month old son who had sickness and diarrhoea and we had to walk through a cloud of smoke when coming in and leaving and the waiting room also smelled very strongly of smoke. the care we received from nhs24 and the ooh nurse, receptionist etc was excellent but the smell of the smoke and smoke outside the building was not nice at all

Thank you for taking time to give us this feed back, we strive to deliver the best possible service. I apologise regarding the smell of smoke you had to walk through to reach our service. Regrettably we do try to deter patients smoking within the hospital grounds but unfortunately sometimes this proves to be very difficult. We will continue to work on this.
