"Fantastic nursing staff"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Day Surgery Crosshouse Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was admitted to the gyn ward at crosshouse hospital after developing complications at the day surgery unit and was distressed due to poor care at the day surgery. I felt immediately safe and was comforted by the level of care by the staff on the ward.

Dear clyaj2

thank you for your lovely feedback for the Gyn Ward. I am sorry to hear your experience on day surgery unit and hope you made a full recovery.

I will forward your message on to both the Gyn Ward and Day surgery

Thank you

I did not make a full recovery and am still being treated for the extensive bruising. I had to return to the ward last week as the bruising was still so deep and widespread. Medical staff asked the nurses to once again skin mark the outer edge to ensure it doesn’t spread again. I’ve to return later this week. I am still unable to sit down or mobilise normally. I have noticed however that it looks a little better today so feel positive that it will look much better by the end of the week. Once again the staff were very supportive on my visit.
