I had the need to go to A&E yesterdaydue to an infected finger which had swollen my right hand. This was due to a medical condition I have and the infection is a regular matter in my life.
It was early morning and the A&E was not busy, however, it was clear other services were busy and I waited for just over three hours, which was not a problem for me.
Being in a lot of pain I was seen by Specialty Doctor Al-Janabi.
From the very start of my discussion, it was clear this doctor cared about what had happened and he was very interested in my medical history. He was easy to talk to and his manner was just a pleasure for a person so busy. It was then decided to lance the infection and clear the infected area of my hand. I was given ample support and advice from the doctor before and during the preparation in this matter.
Painful it was, but just to have that professional attention from the doctor was great and I left the hospital feeling at ease and in a lot less pain.
Thanks
I would also like to thank the receptionist at the front desk for her assistance when I arrived, unfortunately I did not have her name.
"Exellent A&E service"
