"Several different complaint handlers"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / General Medicine Moffat Community Hospital

(as a relative),

After having a meeting with a member of staff who said that they would be dealing with my worries and complaints, then it was handed to another member of staff, when I got a reply from a 3rd different member of staff saying no stroke, but I have a discharge letter saying stroke and its underlined. Even with the help of the carers centre we can't get anyone to talk to face to face. All I ask for as power of attorney for my husband is clarity and honesty, but this seems to be thin on the ground. Or is there a carpet in your office that you sweep these complaints under, what are you frightened of, I'm not an ogre with one eye.

Dear Vexed,

I am sorry to hear that you have been unhappy with the way in which your concerns have been dealt with so far. From now on, I would urge you to have direct contact only with myself or the Patient Experience team in DGRI and allow us to help you with any concerns you may wish to discuss.

Best Wishes

Alexis Brain
