"Tried to call twice and gave up"

About: Colchester General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

Tried twice and gave up to call Ultrasound Department as soon as they were open first thing in morning, was told by the operator they will be there, so twice she put me through and phone just constantly rang out for 15 mins then cut me off! What kind of service is this especially when my call was very important?
