From a screening mammogram in July, it was found that I had an non - invasive breast cancer which required surgery. Everyone in the breast care department were exceptionally kind and supportive - from the receptionists, nurses, radiologists and of course the surgeons. They had time for me and made sure that I was aware that I could contact them if I needed anything. The surgery itself went fine even though I had to have a re-excision to achieve clear margins. The surgeons were so skilful and made me feel at ease. The department is very well managed and I feel that they are an extremely tight team which can only be of benefit to patients. Thank you to everyone.
"Outstanding department"
