"Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and caring"

I feel I have to write to you about my extremely positive experience at the Gastroscopy Unit in the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.   From start to finish the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and caring.  I was quite nervous as I was expecting to hear bad news ( which, thankfully, I didn’t).  Dr Jafferbhoy - the consultant - was exceptional - he was kind, engaging, very professional and worked so well with his whole team that I felt completely relaxed.  The nurses in attendance, Kerrie, May and the student nurse, Rebecca, were all supportive, sensitive and very caring.  We also managed a laugh or two along the way.  This made an uncomfortable procedure much more bearable.  So often people write to complain about their experiences of the NHS that I felt compelled to contact you to commend your staff who were obviously working in a very busy and stressful department.
