About: Wansbeck Hospital

I would like to express my thanks for the excellent care taken of me by the Ward 15 staff on 16/10/2019. I can honestly say that everyone from the cleaner I spoke with when I first got to the hospital in the morning to the Consultant who carried out the operation made me feel well taken care of. Every member of staff greeted me, gave me their name and told me their role and all were reassuring and capable.

This was my first experience of hospital other than when I had my daughter 26 years ago and the staff made the whole situation as stress free as possible.

We know that hospitals can feel like very frightening places especially when you’re not used to spending any time there. It means everything to us to hear that you felt so safe and well cared for by the amazing team on ward 15. It’s also reassuring to know that you encountered this level of excellence in every member of staff that you came into contact with?
