"Appointment system could be improved"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

I had a telephone consultation booked with the Logan practice in a morning slot but this was not received at any point that day. Upon querying it the following working day I was told no appointments are carried over from one day to another and I effectively had no appointment to be honoured and the next available was 3 days later. No apology offered. I felt angry and let down by all aspects of this.

Thanks so much for getting in touch with us about your experiences with your local GP Practice. GP Practices are independant contractors and as such are responsible for looking into any concerns a person may have about their services, and getting back to you directly.
