"Excellent treatment for my daughter"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I brought my daughter (aged 4) to A&E in October. My daughter was in great distress, as was I. We were treated with dignity and kindness, and the doctor called Grigor was very welcoming, helpful and understanding. There is a tendency for professionals to ask mothers the same questions over and over; have you tried this? Have you tried that? However, Grigor listened with respect, helped to calm us both down and I left the hospital with a suitable plan and a follow up in place.

I want to publicly acknowledge the compassion I was shown at 3am by a doctor who I can only assume was very tired and had had a long day, but he still took the time to listen, support and plan for me and my family.

Thank you Grigor and all the wonderful A&E staff that saw us that night.
