my daughter ended up unexpectedly on Nelson needing replacement valve surgery.The surgery took place at St Thomas's but the staff took great care explaining what would happen and trying to calm her fears whilst she waited for a bed..Six months later she has started a new job.Our thanks to all the staff including domestics who keep morale up for the longer stayers.We also loved the coffee shop girls who provided a welcome break from the routine of the ward.
