"The right place in safe hands"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My 9 day old son was admitted with fevers to acorn ward. He had a septic screen and started on antibiotics through a drip.

I was frightened that he was poorly and so little. The doctors, nurses, cleaners, and other staff on the ward we all kind, professional, caring and human. They looked after us so well and through a horrible time I felt we were in the right place in safe hands. I can not thank you all enough. You are so valued.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We know that it is a very stressful and anxious time when your little one is unwell and you have to bring him into a hospital, it feels like the control is taken away from you. We are here for you and your son and you must remember that as a parent you are the most important person for your son, hearing your voice and feeling your touch.

Thank you for this feedback, I will make sure that everyone is aware of it.
