in june 2019 ruptured my acl was seen in miu same day at spalding was refered by spalding miu to fracture clinic at pilgrim was seen 1 week later then the following week then 2 weeks later to be told the same thing I was told the week before.
In mid August I was discharged from fracture clinic who refered me to see surgeons for acl reconstruction was put on a waiting list I call the secretary of that surgeon in oct 2019 to be told they had not seen the referral that was sent. I had to inform them that the referral was on the care portal I was then told I would have a appointment towards the end of October 2019. I was informed the day before the appointment that it was cancelled as surgeon will not be back until dec.
I was not happy at this point spoke with manager who told me that they would change my surgeon and they would call me with a appointment I have tried to call the secretary of the surgeon and to date not able to speak with anyone it is 19 week since the accident and still no appointment to speak with a surgeon. This service has not kept me up to date in the meantime I have a leg that is sore painful and still giving way. all I need is a appointment to see surgeon asap but not able to speak with anyone re this
"amount of time waiting to see surgeon"
