From.beciming pregnant I suffered with extreme hyperemesis.
I was a mature pregnant lady or 'geriatric' mother as they call it.
My treatment from all the staff was nothing short of excellent from the early pregnancy unit snd admissions frequently and giving birth to my daughter.I had an underlying health problem and the staff took great care of me during labour and respected my birth plan.
I had an induced birth by gels and breaking of water and I had forceps.
The maternity nurses were calm and I had their full attention.
I ended up in theatre as emergency as placenta didn't come away and the anthetist held my hand at one point to reassure me as I was scared.
My beautiful daughter was born healthy and happy and I can't thank all the doctors and nurses for their wonderful care.
I would say to anyone wondering what hospital to have their baby at to choose Preston as my experience was a positive one.
Thank you Preston hospital for making the birth if my daughter a happy one.
"Excellent service"
