"Excellent care"

I attended for my urgent referral and, although the department was very busy, the reception and nursing staff were friendly, caring, calm and efficient. Delay was about 20 minutes - to be expected because consultation times can vary. I was seen by an excellent consultant who listened and did not hurry the consultation. He had all my medical records to hand and a previous CT scan on his computer. I then proceeded round the system with blood tests, urine tests, ultrasound, flow test and cystoscopy. All done very efficiently and painlessly. I was referred for a contrast CT two days later, and again the staff were friendly and efficient. I was treated with respect and dignity at all times and everything was clearly explained. This was not my first visit to Urology and especially asked for referral to Guys because I knew how good the department is, and I have absolute faith in the staff. Would always recommend Guys for people needing a visit to Urology.
