Went to A & E Saturday afternoon with a blocked catheter leaking blood and urine in extreme pain and short of breath
Was immediately dealt with a reception, put in a wheelchair and taken into a small room and then taken to RESU where I was put on a bed and wired up to monitors.
Was seen by a male staff nurse who examined me and connected me to a large drain bag
The he flushed out my catheter a couple of times and released some blood clots which allowed my catheter to drain and thus took away my horrendous pain
Blood tests were taken to make sure my kidneys and liver were funstioning properly, the duty doctor came round and discussed the
blockage in great detail to us.
At all times the professionalism and detail to cleanliness and hygene was outstanding
I was even offered dinner but discharged early!
Thank you to all the staff in the RESU and A & E Reception and of course my wife who looked after me so well
"Excellent service Frimley A & E"
