"Ward 310 Anchor Unit"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cancer Services (Medical Oncology)

(as a relative),

I would like to say how wonderful the staff were today when my mum was in for her first chemotherapy session. My mum wants to thank Staff Nurses Ashley and Eilidh (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) for how they treated her, even though my mum didn’t stop chatting all day and they had plenty of work to do haha! My mum can’t believe she actually enjoyed her first day of chemo all thanks to these girls and all staff within the unit! Thank you from the both of us, who are also nurses... xxxx

Dear Glad G,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your mums first experience having chemotherapy in ward 310. I am really pleased that the staff were able to put your mum at ease at a stressful time for her.

I will pass on your appreciation to the nursing staff in ward 310.

With best wishes.
