"Poor management leads to poor service"

About: Loddon Vale Practice

If it was just the odd isolated incident I would be happy but it's every time i have to interact with the surgery. Loddon Vale seem to have made a sport out of wasting peoples time; some examples:

- No appointments for months

- "Sorry we are not booking in appointments right now even if your doctor told you to book an appointment"

- "You can have an appointment in 2 months, but if you want to see your doctor it will be longer"

- "Come back on Friday at 2:30 and we will have new future appointments you can book"... Come in on Friday and I get "Oh sorry it's now Monday.

- Turning up for an appointment that i booked and finding it is "not on the system"

- spending hours waiting on the phone in the morning to book an emergency appointment for something that is routine, because that is the only way to get an appointment

- Prescriptions for the for the same drug split Into two prescriptions because the pills don't come in the dosage prescribed, so I have to pay twice

- Asking for the prescription to be altered and told the doctor refused to make it one prescription and there is nothing they can do

- Going in today for a Flu jab and seeing hundreds or pensioners waiting out in the rain rather than someone managing the queue and getting them all inside.

Finally speaking to someone and them telling me it's for over 65s only today when I was only told about it earlier in the week!

Finally the overall smugness of the staff when they tell you they can't help you, I am polite and respectful of their obviously difficult job in the face of so many administrative and managerial errors, but their thick skinned response is galling to people like me who just don't understand how they can continue this poor level of service.
