"Doing a marathon"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

I've just come back onto hambleton ward after running my first ever marathon!

The health and fitness team deserve a big thankyou, it has been a great day. Everyone was very supportive and the sense of achievement crossing the finish line was just amazing, it is a day that I will never forget so thanks!

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to post this feedback.

I’ll certainly share this with The Health and Fitness Team.

It really was such an achievement and we believe the first time a Marathon has been completed within a secure hospital.

I’m very proud of all the patients that trained for and completed the challenge and of my staff for enabling this to happen.

Kind Regards

James Routen
Health & Fitness Manager
