I was supposed to have an operation my neck (bulging disks) in August. I was in the hospital bed, doctor came to see me and said they have decided NOT to do the operation....fine.
I had a lumbar MRI to find out why I have horrendous pain, (I can't stand due to the pain/numbness at the front of my thigh, sitting down stops it) which they said was clear, but it wasn't I found out later. There are a few issues, I'm in agony, and have been in floods of tears. I have hyperreflexia as per the report. My own GP has referred me back to neurology, getting nowhere, telephone calls to a lovely secretary who has helped immensely, apparently I'm being sent to an ESP, had to google what that was. I can't even get an appointment (i can only do Monday's) because I haven't been discharged as yet, I do understand everybody is busy, but this has been going on since August, and not a call/letter either to me or my own GP. This is all getting a bit much.
