"All staff were professional"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

I arrived with my dad who has advanced prostate cancer and had developed an acute urine retention. He was triaged by a nurse then seen by a doctor, bladder scanned and catheter inserted by the lovely nurse Jan within 40 minutes of our arrival. All staff were professional, friendly and just absolutely amazing. As a nurse of 25 years I have never been prouder of the NHS. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely feedback following your Dad's recent visit to our Emergency Department.

The staff involved, especially Joan, were delighted to receive your very kind comments. It was heartening for them to know that their efforts and approach to patient care have been appreciated.

This must be a very difficult and worrying time for you as a family and it was particularly thoughtful of you to take the time to share your thoughts.

With all best wishes,

Linda
