I went for a clinic hysteroscopy at Lincoln County Hospital.
From the moment I was called in from the waiting room to the end of the procedure I was treated with respect, kindness and compassion. Although not a particularly difficult procedure, a hysteroscopy is rather invasive but the gentleness in speech, manner and the actual procedure was extraordinarily thoughtful. Talking me through what was going to happen and was happening helped to relax me and give me the utmost confidence in the three nurses undertaking the procedure. I was so pleased the procedure was carried out by a female. I would very much like to thank Nicky, Julie and Jen for their professionalism, thoughtfulness and kindness. I could tell they not only enjoyed their work but wanted to make the procedure as painless and comfortable as possible for the patient. All I could think about was how wonderful the NHS is (how blessed we are to have such a service available) and how grateful I am for not having to use it very often but when I have had to, I have been very well treated. Thank you.
