"Lack of compassion to bereaved parents"

About: The Old School Medical Practice

(as a service user),

My young son (a child) died in early 2015. My husband and I qualified for a NHS flu jab when he was alive because he was at high risk & we had to minimise the risk of passing flu on to him.

The practice was his GP, so know he died. Despite this every year the practice send us a letter each inviting us for our NHS flu jab, every year we tell them we no longer qualify as our son has died. Some years this is in person, some years by email, some years by letter. Every year we ask that we be removed from the list. We tell them of the heartbreaking pain the letters cause, as our son is no longer with us. But yet again we get the same letters. I wrote again this year and have not even got a reply let alone confirmation that the practice will change their data base or an apology.

I do wonder if I am wasting my time, especially as this issue has been raised repeatedly with the practice.
