(as a service user),

In August I presented at university hospital Wishaw emergency department. I was experiencing new abdominal symptoms. 

I was reviewed very promptly by Mr Grumber registrar and within 5 hours I was undergoing surgery. 

This episode of care shows  the amazing job the medical professionals carry out on a daily basis.
