About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a relative),

My brother was recently on QEU hospital glasgow UCI ward 61  and received 5 star treatment from all in the team from anaesthetist, consultant, doctors & those wonderful nurses  we  as a family were blown away with the care he received it was sad he never woke up  to thank them himself.  it was a pleasure to have these professional s around us  looking after our brother we feel deeply humbled  as they even took the time to get to know our names while  we were sitting with him  we are a family of 9 boys 6 girls & then his wife and family & a large extended family    thankyou  team in ward 61 for supporting us  during his passing    x

I was very sorry to hear of your brother's passing and would like to extend my sincere sympathies to you and your family. We very much appreciate you taking the time to post this kind feedback regarding your brother's care in our Neuro Intensive Care Unit at what must be a very difficult time for you as a family. The care of patients and their families is at the core of what the ward 61 team do and they make it their priority to get to know patients and their families to provide the best possible care. I will share your feedback widely with the full team to let them know that this was appreciated by you.
