Appauling.

Worst GP surgery I have ever been to. GP's are never consistent, seem to come and go. Waiting on the telephone for at least 10 minutes to speak to someone to get an appointment and then you have to explain to a receptionist what your problem is before they will book a telephone appointment.

How can a receptionist make a judgement if you need to see a doctor or not? The person working in the pharmacy is rude and abrupt. You can be waiting for prescriptions for 48 hours and medicines for a week!

I went to see a GP recently about a lump I noticed that was rather red and angry.

She sent me away and said it would clear up.

A week later, it was worse.

I went back saw another GP only to be told that it was badly infected and if not treated could lead to sepsis!

My husband also went to see the GP about an ear infection.

He was told to go away and it would clear up.

It never did.

He went back and was given some antibiotics.

Another 2 weeks went by, it was still not any better.

He went to see a private GP and was told that he could have a perforated ear drum! I have complained to patient services at the practice, but 2 weeks later I am still waiting for a satisfactory response. They dont care! They should shut this centre down.

Dear Anon. Please would you be kind enough to contact us to let the Patient Service's Managers know exactly who you are so we can chase any contact we may have had from you.

We have been using locums as we had a few doctors leave due to relocation in another area of the country. Also we sadly one of our partners passed away and another retired. We are actively recruiting but of course, I am sure you are aware of the lack of GPs nationwide? We do try to keep continuity as far as possible but there is the possibility of seeing others if those doctors are not available.
