"Recent stay in ward 208."

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a relative),

My grandad was recently an inpatient in ward 208 at Aberdeen royal infirmary and I cannot praise all the staff enough. One auxiliary in particular who made his stay so welcoming and relaxed. Nicole went not only above and beyond for him while he was sick but also my family too. My grandad described her as a real life angel.

We sat and had a discussion about her tattoo that says, positivity always and I’ll never forget it. It’s something that will stick with us all forever and I’ll always remember her by.

I hope one day in the future Nicole goes on to do her nursing degree because she’d make an absolutely amazing nurse.

All the other nurses, doctors and even the domestic staff were all so lovely towards myself and my family and I cannot thank them all enough.

Grandad is now home and recovering well.

Hello Cxmxd

Thank you so much for taking time to provide positive feedback regarding the care your Grandad received during his time on ward 208.

All the staff work hard to ensure that they deliver patient-centred care. So it's lovely to hear that their hard work is being recognised.

Nicole was delighted to hear her kindness has left a positive impact with you all.

And it's good to hear your Grandad is recovering well.

Kind regards

Gillian
