Previously, I have written to Care Opinion regarding professional excellence within NHS Scotland in a number of disciplines and involving a variety of staff from receptionists to ambulance personnel to nurses, doctors and surgeons. Today, I visited the Dermatological Unit at Stirling Community Hospital on a follow-up appointment to treatment for the removal of two basal cell carcinomas (BCCs). Being in my 80s, there were a number of skin conditions that required attention. This was given with real care by Specialist Nurse Gillian). I was yet again impressed with the standards exhibited by yet another branch of NHS Scotland.
