Last Saturday my partner suffered palpitations and a fast heart rate. We attended our local ED St John's Hospital at Livingston. We were taken immediately and despite it being busy he received impeccable care from wonderful and caring staff. I was scared and concerned at the time and am now profoundly grateful.

I am sorry to read how unwell your partner became last weekend - I can only imagine how stressful this must have been for you both.

I was really pleased to how well he was cared for during what was a busy time for the department.

I have shared your lovely feedback with the staff who I am sure will be delighted to read your kinds words, especially as you describe them as wonderful and caring.

I do hope your partner is feeling better.
