"A positive Cataract operation experience"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Opthalmology

(as a service user),

Attended Falkirk for second cateract operation. Welcomed on entry and shown to waiting room. Staff were very kind, getting me settled in and offering hot drinks and a snack. Drops were applied to my eye and during the procedure I was reassured by the Nurse by my side. Dr Scott was happy with the outcome, and again during waiting for my husband to collect me I was offered drinks. All in all a positive experience and thanks to all involved.

The team at Falkirk are delighted to hear that you have had such a positive experience and we would like to thank you for sharing this. We hope that you are enjoying much improved eye sight and feeling all of the benefits of having your cataract surgery completed in both eyes.
