Dom is an excellent listener and was very skilled at both grasping the key issues at hand, and gently talking me round to how we could go from identifying workplace issues and the health implications to how we could consider approaching them.
- I was very confident in Dom’s approach and advice. I felt like I was in a safe pair of hands with Dom. My confidence in him was probably as a result of his skills in listening and engaging with the issues we discussed.
- I wouldn’t have been able to turn my health and work around without the support of Dom. The change in the last six months has been more than I could have hoped for - and largely down to having the support and encouragement of someone such as Dom to reassure me along the way and help me talk through work/health considerations. Previously my anxiety and depression was strongly limiting my fulfilment and ability to stay in work, I’ve now got back a happier me than I had remembered existed.
- the service itself as health focused work coaching has been fantastic. The format of meeting my coach every 2-3 weeks to review how i am, what my strategy is going forward, and what additional support or opportunities might be out there for me to pursue has worked really well.
- the structure Dom brought to meetings worked really well- he’d always have checked where we were up to next time and set a few key questions to consider for each session. Equally, he was flexible enough that when things like job interviews etc became priority we were able to focus on them.
- thanks! Dom has been absolutely amazing. I feel very lucky to have had his support and coaching for the last nine months, and it’s absolutely transformed my health/work situation, and set me up much better to tackle things going forward.
