"Amazing care and attention"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Admitted to Day Surgery for some surgery to my head and chest! Amazing care and attention given from arrival at 8am until departure almost four hours later. The surgeon, Duncan was fantastic both in terms of the procedure and the communication. Staff nurse Mary looked after me for an hour or so to make sure l was fit and able to go home! All nurses - at admission, completing forms etc were fantastic! What an amazing job you all do!

The staff in Day Surgery will be delighted with your amazing care and very positive experience whilst in Day Surgery having your operation.

I will have pleasure in passing on all of your comments relating to the Dr Duncan, Nurse Mary and all of the staff in the Department.

Our staff in UHH, strive to deliver the best possible person centred care to all of our patients whilst in our care.
