"Care in Whitbread ward"

I was recently admitted on to the Whitbread ward following a severe reaction. While in hospital I caught hospital acquired pneumonia and was quite poorly. But the care I got was excellent throughout the 7 days I was in there. All staff from domestic to doctors where very caring and helpful especially while I had rely on them to get out of bed due to being on oxygen. Two of the staff went above and beyond of what I would of expected. The support worker was so caring and was constantly there checking how i was and was able to raise the alarm when my stats dropped. Even though she was busy she was always came across happy and respectful and did have a great attitude and showed so much care towards me and other patients. When

I was worried and upset as couldn't breath properly she was there to keep me calm. She was amazing and a credit to your hospital. One of the nurses was so caring and remained calm in an emergency when I had an secondary reaction she never left my side until the doctors and critical care team arrived this in turnt help me keep calm and focus on her. She was amazing even when she was trying to run the ward and was so busy as the ward was short staffed this didn't affect her care towards patients. Whatever I needed she was there to help. I felt so poorly these 2 staff got me through it. The other nurses and doctors were great too. The ks so much hope this gets passed onto these staff.
