"A big dip since merging with Great Harwood"

About: Cabin Surgery

I have always found the doctors at the cabin surgery helpful, caring and up to date with their practise. Seeing the same doctors over the years has helped develop a trust that should be present between doctor and patient. Unfortunately this no longer exists. It is impossible to get through on the phone (50-60) calls to be finally told they have no routine appointments, ring back for an emergency appointment at 8.30 or 1.30, but what if it isn’t an emergency, why should I take the place of someone who really needs it? When in desperation you do ring for an emergency appointment you can’t get through due to the phone being engaged. When you can finally get an appointment it’s to be sent to great Harwood to see a dr you’ve never met in your life, and if you’re told your appointment is 5.00, expect at least a 30-40 minute wait. Terrible service
