"help with grief"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

I had the pleasure of having Steve help me, he was kind thoughtful and wanted to help me, I have changed in massively positive ways since seeing Steve as he did not want to change me, he wanted to help me understand which is a world of difference to thinking you are not supposed to be here. My grief and needing to know why I am the way I am was eating away at me for years, I feel like I have lost the only person who understood me. I am sad but I am also aware that with his help I have my OCD and Anxiety under some sort of control. I wish everyone who was different could talk to him. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, there need to be more humans like him in positions of care.

I can honestly say I would no longer be here if it weren't for this one person.

Dear cepheusjr65

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback and explain what your experience of treatment was.

It sounds like the work has been massively positive and helped you view yourself and the world with greater compassion and understanding? Maybe even acceptance?

A huge personal thank you for sharing your story with us and I know many other people will be encouraged by your words.

Many thanks

Paul
