"Attitudes to waiting"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Maxillo-Facial surgery

(as a service user),

I arrived at my outpatient appointment 20 mins early having left time in case of delays in parking or finding the clinic, so I expected a wait. I was not seen until over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Again, I have no issue with this as I appreciate clinics can overrun or emergencies need to be seen.

What I do find unacceptable is that no acknowledgement of this was offered or any apology for my wait.

Dear Lise

Please accept my apologies for the lack of information regarding the delay for your appointment. Please rest assured I will share this with the team and remind them of the importance of keeping our patients informed.

Kind regards

Sam
