My son gets admitted regularly due to breathing issue and never have I ever had a problem with his care the nurses know him very well and make him feel very much at ease the doctors are little snotty sometimes (make me feel like a crap mum) but the nurses then come round after and put you straight back feeling like u have done ur best the nurse is an amazing nurse and my son has a very special connection with her and is a very good boy with all his treatment when he has her as his nurse she always goes above and beyond and is highly talented at what she does she shows compassion she talk to him listens to him and plays with him the nurse is a number one nurse she’s fantastic other nurses are amazing tooo

Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely story with us, its always great to hear that patients and families have had a positive experience and its wonderful to hear that you have such a good relationship with nursing staff, the one nurse you describe sounds very special and we feel proud to have her as part of our team. We are sorry to hear that your experience with medical staff hasn't been quite so positive but we will feed that back and hopefully can improve.

Your son sounds very brave having to spend a lot of time in hospital, what a superstar.
