I had an ultrasound appointment this morning, this was a revisit following a previous visit. The sonography saw me 10 mins early as no one waiting. She instantly made me feel comfortable and explained what she was going to do. She then was happy to answer questions and explained what she could see, even showing me the screen. This is very different to my previous experience where I wasn’t told anything. I am obviously aware the results will be sent to the GP for final view and any further actions but I really appreciated her openness and willingness to explain.
