"Waiting Time"

About: Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital

My husband waited 4 hours for the minor injuries clinic on the morning of 3-9-19. Whilst we appreciate some patients need to be seen sooner than others it would be helpful if those waiting were kept informed of the wait. At no time was the board updated and also at no time did any member of staff offer any advice as to how long the wait might be.so today we felt that the service was very poor.

Hello

We are sorry you were unhappy with the service your husband received at Sittingbourne Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) yesterday morning. We have forwarded your review to the operational lead at the MIU who was working yesterday and she is not aware that anyone had to wait for 4 hours. To give us the opportunity to look into this further please contact our PALS team (details) below with more information and your contact details.

Best wishes
