"One particular Consultant Urology Dept"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Urology

Go for a second opinion as one particular consultant is arrogant, has dirty fingernails and does not listen to patients. He has no bedside manner at all and if you mention you are going to ask for a second opinion he will become rude and annoyed. He should retire as he is not good for his patients. I gained this information personally and after speaking to some of his patients. His support staff are excellent though, but he lets the NHS down.

Although you raise concerns, it is pleasing to read that you found the urology support staff to be excellent.
